A service to celebrate the life of John Cornall-Reilly
will be held in the Anglican Church, Splatt Street Swan Hill
on Tuesday 19th February 2019. Commencing at 10.30 A.M.
Followed by a private Cremation.
The members of the Victorian Priory of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem Knights Hospitaller regret the passing of their esteemed member, Chevalier John Cornall Reilly who was invested into our Order in 1989. In acknowledgement and appreciation of the service and loyalty of Chevalier John Cornell-Reilly CJSJ, he was formally recognised during the 2012 Investiture and Thanksgiving Service by the Chaplain of the Priory of Victoria who prayed, ―Lord our God, whose servants the Knights and Dames of this Order of Saint John have lived in loyalty and honour to the praise of your holy name, we give thanks for the members of the Order in this present age and especially this day we give thanks for the many years of loyalty and service of Chevalier John Cornell-Reilly and pray that his retirement may be long and fruitful: this we pray through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen. His Excellency Grand Prior Royce R. Pepin AM, MBE, GCSJ presented Chev. John with a Diploma which reads in part; ―In recognition of the excellent service given to the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knights Hospitaller during the last twenty two years of loyal and generous dedication Chev. John David Cornall-Reilly CJSJ was awarded The Order‘s Certificate of Commendation by H.E. The Lieutenant Grand Master and the Officers of the Petit Conseil as a token of recognition and esteem" Pro Fide Pro Utilitate Hominum-For Faith for Service to Humanity
