We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Andrew Kelton Day (Andy). When our family moved to Swan Hill, Andy was among the first to welcome us. His kindness, generosity, and readiness to lend a hand, whether through practical help or a load of firewood, will always be remembered with gratitude. Andy lived the Lions ethics and purposes, 'We serve'. Even after we moved to Canberra some fifteen years ago, Andy kept in touch with his characteristic warmth and good spirit. Our heartfelt condolences go to Mary, Daniel, Rebecca, Aimee, and all of Andy’s family and friends. He will be fondly remembered. The Kennedy Family

We met Andy, Mary and family when we arrived in Swan Hill in 1994 We lived next door to them in a rental property before purchasing our home in Swan Hill. Andy was very helpful in helping us to get established and move into our new home.Nothing was too much trouble for him when it came to assisting us and his fellow community members,but at the same time ensuring that his loving family came first. He always had a smile on his face and saw the good in his friends and the community .We share Mary’s and her family’s loss and we will remember Andy with kind thoughts RIP Andy, a. Life well lived
