Farewell Barb, it has been a long and interesting life, and you earned much respect for your strength, your acute mind and your quick wit. A loyal and stoic wife and partner to Nev and a dedicated mum.

I met Barbara about 6 years ago in my care provider role. We had some enjoyable times. When we played 500 at a local social gathering she went home to read up on the rules on her computer, to make sure I had them correct. It was hard to beat Garlic Prawns if we were out for lunch, she loved them. Barbara took to online shopping like no other senior I know and it was often like Xmas at the Post office collecting numerous parcels. She was quite determined in her quest to remain at home for as long as she could. I will miss her.
