Gordon would visit me just about every day for that chat and a few cups of tea, the stories he told me about his life and adventures were something to write a book about, but he said he would not want a book written, some stories I will keep to myself. My most spoken comment to Gordon was, "Keep on moving" as in exercise, walking and such, but it was getting hard for him, at least he had his mobilty scooter, which I convinced him to let me install lithium batteries in, this allowed more distance he could travel without worrying about it going flat. Gordon also loved the freedom his van gave him, so he could travel to see friends in far away places, he also loved sleeping in his van, even when it was parked at home. I will catch up with you again old mate, you can then boil the kettle for me. Until then I say Good Bye Gordon.... rest easy.

So sorry to hear the passing of Gordon, we spoke every other month, we met in SALE in Vic, while we travelled with the caravan. And over the years caught up at different place. He was a wealth of knowledge and will be sadly missed

Another good old mate left me. Gordo used to live opposite me in Tailem Bend. We also shared cuppas for many years until he sold up and moved to Pt Pirie to live. There's not a spot in my Tailem residence where there is a reminder of Gordo... He often took up residence here with a caravan or bus on my property and became a great help welding up frame work for my several building projects. Vale mate! you are sadly missed. Always remembered ........ Barry.

So sad to hear of Gordon's passing, he was a customer first and then a friend he would stop by to say a cheery hello tell me a few jokes and bring Lucy by for a pat. I will miss his visits. Rest easy Gordon.

What a great friend, I would catch up every couple of weeks and have a chat and a coffee. Swap some books and talk about travelling around Aus. He got his trailer equipped for camping and had even bought himself a 12 volt electric blanket. I will miss you dearly Gordon,.and will think of you on my travels.
